Software / Interoperability Engineer (Senior)

Job Description

The Software Engineer, Level 2 position is designed for experienced interoperability engineers with a minimum of 4 – 6 years experience and who have a working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and/or significant software development skills. The preferred candidate will be proficient in using healthcare integration tools and have a desire to continue to rapidly gain new technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related concentration (or practical work experience plus any college degree)
• Practical experience working with HL7 v2, IHE, CCDA, EDI, Javascript, Java, SQL, JSON, XML, restAPI, SOAP, MIME, ETL, Python, and NodeJS
• Strengths in SSL, SSO, and Application Security Protocols are a plus
• Good communication skills, enjoys client interaction and team collaboration

Channel Engineer / Interoperability Implementation Specialist

Job Description

The Interoperability Implementation Specialist position plays a key role in ensuring the success of healthcare interoperability projects for Zen clients. Zen engineers work collaboratively on a variety of healthcare interoperability projects, with an opportunity to continue to grow and evolve subject matter expertise.  

 Requirements

• Subject matter expert in the area of healthcare messaging standards such as HL7v2, CCD/CDA, FHIR, and IHE profiles
• JAVA, JavaScript, HTML, XML knowledge / experience preferred
• Experience developing healthcare interfaces in Mirth Connect Interface engine
• Database fundamentals (PostgreSQL and/or SQL)
• Good communication skills, enjoys client interaction and team collaboration
